Powder metallurgy is a term covering a wide range of ways in which materials or components are made from metal powders. It is a metal-forming process performed by heating compacted metal powders to just below their melting points. KimaCell cellulose ethers are compatible with most other additives such as dispersants, plasticizers and surfactants. It is easily integrated into existing formulations and exhibits excellent degreasing properties.
KimaCell cellulose ether grades provide excellent thickening in water and certain organic solvent components in powder metallurgy extrusion applications.
