Gypsum hand plaster is used to render the interior of buildings. KimaCell® cellulose ether provide good workability while ensuring strong adhesion between the plaster and the wall. Gypsum based plaster is normally referred to as pre-mixed dry mortar which mainly contains gypsum as a binder. Gypsum-based hand plasters are used in smaller areas as well as during renovations. They can be mixed by hand or with a machine and then applied by hand, usually with a trowel. Plaster-based hand or bonded plasters delay less than plaster-based machine plasters. It is mixed with water at the work site and used to render surfaces on various interior walls made of brick, concrete, ALC blocks, etc. Use of construction grade cellulose ether ensures the necessary water retention, workablity and sag resistance.
