Color Pencils

KimaCell® cellulose ethers are used as binders and plasticizers in the lead production of colored pencils and and crayons. KimaCell® cellulose ethers can reduce production time, provide strong tinting strength and better flexibility for the manufacturing of pencils and crayons as a molding adhesive for pencils and crayons. Due to the use of KimaCell Cellulose ether, the lead of the crayon have higher flexibility and higher braking strength.

We recommend low viscosity cellulose ether HPMC for the production of colored pencils.
