Cement Render

Cement based renders can be applied to exterior walls such as block walls, concrete walls, ALC block walls, etc. by hand plaster or sprayer. KimaCell® cellulose ethers help control water demand and improve processability and sag resistance. KimaCell® cellulose ether reduces shrinkage or expansion of cementitious renders during curing as it provides high water retention. Without cellulose ether, excessive shrinkage or expansion can create cracks in the cement render.

Cellulose ethers can improve the water retention of cement-based plasters and provide the following additional advantages:

1. The cellulose ethers of the plastering grade dissolve very quickly, allowing all dry particles to be completely dispersed. Enhances the lubricity of dispersed particles, resulting in smooth, uniform rendering.

2. Cellulose ether improves the rheology of the plaster for excellent workability and consistency. Improved consistency allows for smoothing and evening without sagging. The high water retention of cellulose ether can also extend the working time.

3. The cellulose ether in the mixture can retain water for a longer open time means that the cement can be fully hydrated and develop high mechanical strength.

• Improve uniformity, make plastering paste easier to trowel, improve sag resistance, enhance fluidity and pumpability, and improve work efficiency.

• High water retention, prolong the placement time of mortar, improve work efficiency, and facilitate the hydration and solidification of mortar to produce high mechanical strength.

• Control the introduction of air, thereby eliminating cracks on the coating surface and forming an ideal smooth surface.
