Joint filler is also called caulking agent and crack filler. It is a powdery building material, made of white cement as the main material, and then adding a small amount of inorganic pigments, polymers and trace antibacterial agents. Ready-mixed joint fillers are designed for inlay tape and are typically used indoors to join drywall or for repairs. They are more flexible than gypsum or cement based joint compounds. The addition of cellulose ether gives it good edge adhesion, low shrinkage and high abrasion resistance, which protects the base material from mechanical damage and avoids the impact of penetration on the entire building.
