Kima Invest New Cellulose Ether Factory for Pharma and Food Grade HPMC

Kima is joint venture to set up a new cellulose ether factory in Bohai New District.

The new cellulose ether plant in Bohai new district, which is around 80KM to Tianjin Port, the annual capacity is 27000ton, mainly produce pharma and food grade HPMC, pharma and food grade methyl cellulose, etc.

Pharmaceutical grade HPMC Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is white or milky white, odorless, tasteless, fibrous powder or granule, weight loss on drying does not exceed 10%, soluble in cold water but not hot water, slowly in hot water Swelling, peptization, and forming a viscous colloidal solution, which becomes a solution when cooled, and becomes a gel when heated. As pharma excipient and food ingredient, It is widely used in tablet coating, HPMC empty capsule, pellet extrusion,whipped topping etc.
