KimaCell® CMC PM50 sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is an anionic high molecular polymer with ether bond structure, which is made of cellulose as the main raw material, after alkalization and ultrafine treatment, and then through multiple chemical reactions such as crosslinking, etherification and acidification. Its finished product is white or light yellow powder or granule. Non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, with good water retention, and excellent shear thinning. Greatly increase the napping speed of paper products to improve the ink absorption performance of paper. Good rheology and film-forming properties, enhance paper stiffness and smoothness. Improves surface strength, breathability, and controls frizz.

KimaCell® CMC PM50 sodium carboxymethyl cellulose Used in the pulping process in the paper industry, it can increase the residence rate and increase the wet strength; it can be used for surface sizing, as an excipient for pigments, to improve internal adhesion, reduce printing dust, and improve printing quality; for paper Coating is beneficial to the dispersion and fluidity of pigments, and enhances the finish, smoothness, optical properties and printing adaptability of paper. As a practical and extensive additive in the paper industry, it mainly has the film-forming properties and oil resistance of water-soluble polymers. It is used for sizing of paper, which makes the paper have high density, good ink penetration resistance, high wax collection and smoothness. It can improve the stickiness state between fibers inside the paper, thereby improving the strength and folding resistance of the paper. In the coloring process of paper and paper, CMC helps to control the flow of color paste and good ink absorption. Generally, the recommended dosage is 0.3-1.5%.
