(3)HPMC Features :
①. Solubility: It is almost insoluble in absolute ethanol, ether, and acetone, but dissolves into a clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution in cold water. Soluble in some organic solvents, also soluble in water-organic solvent mixed solvents.
②. Salt resistance: in the presence of metal salts or organic electrolytes, it is relatively stable in aqueous solution.
③. Surface activity: it can be used as colloidal protective agent, emulsifier and dispersant.PH value is relatively stable in the range of 3.0~11.0. The viscosity of aqueous solution is hardly affected by acid or alkali.
